Aloe vera plants require very little food, as they are adapted to nutrient-poor soil. Feed them only during the growing season (spring/summer) using a balanced, water-soluble liquid fertilizer (e.g., 10-10-10 or 20-20-20) diluted to half-strength or a specialized cactus/succulent food. Overfeeding can damage them.
