It could have gotten too cold and dropped its leaves
While it could be a myriad of things, it is most likely sudden changes in its living environment. Changes in light, temperature, and humidity can all contribute to the leaf drop in an Elephant Bush. As a succulent, the EB prefers full sun, and if relocated to an area of less sunlight, it can start dropping leaves. The same goes for temperature. Give it more love with sunlight.
