what to do? Fledgling?
I was in the garden when this young bird fell out of a nest behind me. I see the parents going in and out of the nest & they are communicating together. But do I intervene & place the young bird back in the nest? I’ve observed it for an hour and it doesn’t seem like it can fly yet

If the parents are there DO NOT TOUCH.

Don’t touch it! Just make sure it’s safe away from predators

Put it back! It’s a myth that the parents will reject it because of your scent. Professional Wildlife rescuers will tell you they do the same.
