Meet Bob my new Venus fly trap
Baby Venus fly trap it's my first and it looks like it's dieing can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong I got it today and tomorrow I am putting outside in a shady spot but just enough sun for two days and then moving it to get more sun I gave it a bigger pot when I got it and named it Bob it has no gender

Clip the dead leaves off and give it some moss

They are bog plants effectively. Distilled water only, and very bright light. That soil is too dry.. they need bog conditions. Water retentive soil which no nutrients. Acidic ideally. Buy specialist soil and sit it in tray of distilled water constantly, with bright lighting.
