Venus fly trap Bog Experiment
I rescued this Venus fly trap from Home Depot which I got 50% on. It was in a temporary home sitting in distilled water till the carnivorous soil has arrived. Removed its old substrate. Reused two old pots cleaned to create a bog bowl with HOTICULTURE Coal, and lava rocks to absorb toxins and holds moisture. Got the Pennywort and Japanese Pennywort from an aquatic/terrarium shop to pair with the Venus fly trap. Used distilled water and set it outside since it will rain soon. I will add sphagnum moss when it arrives to reduce erosion from the rain. By doing own research on how to care for Venus fly traps & carnivorous plants.
