can't tell if she's alive or just hasn't turned brown yet

I got this baby lavender start on July 6th, I’ve been taking all the right steps to keep her healthy, but no matter what I do, her leaves keep browning at the tips. I’ve got rocks and cactus soil in her pot for good drainage. I only water her about once a week, or until the top couple layers of soil dry out completely. What am I doing wrong😭
