Shriveled but Hanging On
I got this sprout on Mother’s Day and having been caring for it ever since. Sadly, I was out of town for a while for Thanksgiving and I came home to find him shriveled. That was on Sunday and it is now Wednesday. I’ve watered it every day since I got back. It seems to be trying to hang on-it has perked back up and the new growth at the appears to be in decent shape. Go Basil Go!

Don’t kill him more!
The Basil has drought shock, but watering every day is a fatal mistake. It causes root rot. Recovery Plan: * Stop Daily Watering: Roots need oxygen. Only water when the top inch of soil is dry. * Prune: Snip off those large, curled leaves. They waste energy needed for the new growth. * Sun: Keep it in the window. Would you like help identifying exactly where to cut?
