Top and let them sit in water for more thorough watering from bottom watering to soak up the water that passed through but just few extra minutes. Here’s my watering set up. See how I have the tan one at an angle. It makes the water deeper without using a lot of water. I use rainwater so I’m pretty conservative with it. You’ll get the hang of it. Before you know it you will be lifting the pots and know whether to or not to water.
