Some kind of weed that keeps growing back in my back yard
its been at our house before we moved in and every time we cut it, rip out the roots, and spray it with weed killer, it just pops back up the next week.

The plant appears healthy.
Weeds are so resilient, they grow well with neglect but are hard to get rid of. Sometimes boiling water works.
