Syzygium lecardii is a medium sized evergreen tree that can grow between 10-20m tall in nature but smaller in gardens. The leaves are a dark, purplish-red colour when young but turn green when mature. Bears lovely clusters of tiny white flowers during late winter and spring between July and October.
Water as needed to keep the soil slightly moist but never soggy. After watering, allow the soil moisture to dry completely before watering again.
Prefers full sun to part shade such as clearings within forests, woods' edges, and savannas. It is very easy to grow from seed.
