Might be root rot for bad soil, lack of sun exposure. Some plants don’t like misting
maybe check for root rot? smell the soil, if it smells like rot then take off the mushy brown rotted roots, soak all the roots in a mix of water and hydrogen peroxide and set the plant in water to grow new healthy roots. if that's now the problem it might be the container, an issue with sun or maybe even the water
It could be overwatering and poor drainage lead to root rot. In general it needs water once a week.
I think too much water. I wouldn’t spray it if it was out in hot Sun sure but sitting inside it just needs watering when the soil is dry.
It’s a tropical plant, don’t put too much water. Spray water every second nite and water the plant twice a week. Morning full sun only!
Perhaps the plant's roots have started to rot
