It definitely looks burnt. It’s not good to cut the brown foliage off but it is good to mist it regularly and move away from direct sunlight
Possibly overwatered? I say that bc mine looks the same. I would take it out and check the roots then remove the ones that are root rot… spray with hydrogen peroxide to help remove bacteria and repot. Good luck!
Since I started Leaning about mango trees , i water only once in a week. Added wood chips to cover the soil. Applied copper fungicide multiple times. And its under a shed! I am scared to take the plant out. It’s 3 yrs old and 4 ft tall in a well drained 5 gal pot. 😢😢 Not sure what else can be done. There are other mango trees next to it, they are good!
Perhaps the problem is insufficient space in the pot or old soil
