I would repot it and spray it with a houseplant spray for gnats and fungus.
water and add drops of hydrogen peroxide 3% as it kills any in the soil. Spray with pesticide / alcohol
I recently experienced the same thing with my plants. I was able to get rid of the gnats by spraying the soil with neem oil and sprinkling cinnamon on top.
