Why would the petals change color?
Last year, this rose was pink and white. This year, it’s yellow. I did have a yellow rose bush, my first one, 4 years old, but it didn’t make it through this last winter. This one was on the far end with a blue and hot pink rose in between them. Someone had said if it was a grafted rose it could change color…maybe that’s the answer. But every time I try to look up why the petals would change color, it tells me about the leaves being yellow due to overwatering which is not the case.

The original grafted rose variety may have died, leaving the yellow rootstock to take over.
