Just a suggestion. I would wrap the stems back into the pot with the root nodes pinned to top of soil so your pot top stays full then let it run over the edge when it’s gotten the pot full. Keep light on the top of pot so it continues to in that area. When one half of the soil is dry, it’s time to start considering watering it. You may need to add more soil to your pot.
