Got this plant, the app says it’s a corn plant it had a little brown on it when I got it but now it’s just getting worse and idk what to do. Pls help.

Same mine also got some brown spots. I trimmed the sick leaves. I’m also a newbie but the sick leaves may but recover themselves and this app also recommended me to use a scissor to remove the sick parts
I’ve had the same problem with my corn plant. I trimmed the leaves but it didn’t stop the whole leaf from turning crispy brown. It starts on the edges and moves to the tip. I can’t figure out what is causing this.
