is this mold?
I am very new to taking care of plants so I am very worried about the health of this plant. I bought it at the Marshall’s and I grew it from seeds and plant food. My only experience with plants is watering succulents. I took this picture before watering it, so I was wondering if it was moldy or just dry. Maybe someone can help?!

Are they Venus Fly Trap plants? Your seedlings are looking good and off to a good start. As long as the mold doesn’t start growing on the seedlings you should be good to let it be. Disturbing the soil now could harm your seedlings.
