hydrangea’s growing taller but no flowers
Does anyone know why my hydrangeas would be getting taller but barely budding? The leaves keep turning black and look rotting. I’ve used fertilizer and there are no insects. Previously had an issue with beetles but they are gone now.

The plant appears healthy.
excessive nitrogen in the soil, insufficient sunlight, improper pruning, or incorrect watering could be what is wrong.
