Hello everyone! This is my small plant called Orbea variegata. It’s little bit strange and beautiful plant at the same time. But i like it! Yeah, it smells like meat, but for me it’s not problem. Some people called it like starfish, and I agree with them! I think, you’ll love it too 🫶

No 😊 Orbea variegata doesn’t kill mosquitoes. It isn’t a carnivorous plant and doesn’t trap or eat insects. Its flower smells like rotting meat to attract flies for pollination, so it may actually draw in flies rather than repel bugs. It’s grown for its unusual starfish-like blooms and fascinating look, not pest control.
