Any help would be appreciated! Thanks to ya’ll for being the best!
im so sorry girl but thats root rot and theres nothing you can do about it now, the plant is going to die 😢😢 the root rot could be caused by over watering or the soil staying wet for to long because of bad drainage or the type of soil
maybe you could try purchasing a native orchid and attach it to a tree that doesn’t shed its bark or even a rock they go great just being on a tree, i have so many all over my farm that have been self seeded by birds. it really is amazing plus they go perfectly fine on their own since it gets watered when it rains and you dont really have to look after it haha
sorry just one more thing i forgot to add! for the future when u get your next orchid make sure you let the soil almost completely dry out between waterings to prevent this 😁😁
Orchids dont like soil and small pots, you should always clean the roots and put it on a big vase and fill with water but not all the way because orchids roots like some air too

I think it could be some kind of non harming fungi growing on the soil. It’s definitely time for a repotting. When you repot you’ll need to remove the old soil from the roots and remove the dead roots. The leaves look very healthy and so do some of the roots. Be sure to use an orchid potting soil. I haven’t had much luck with the bark soil mix so I’m going to try to use long filament sphagnum peat moss which is what mine was in when I purchased it. You got this!
Tayaflowers on this app is one to look at for orchid repotting. She posted a couple of days ago. She loves orchids. She uses bark soil mix and clear plastic pots.
this is root rot and you can put it in water but not too much cuz the roots need some air aswell
You can definitely save it if there’s still good roots… hope your plant recovers
If you got rid of it, you would kill it
Try getting a bigger pot
I literally just turned on my tablet lol
Did your plant recover?
