Thanksgiving cactus
This is the first time that I’ve been able to get this eight year old plant to re-bloom. I started the darkness cycle in the first week of November (too late for Thanksgiving but I thought I’d try). It only developed three buds and only two continued to grow. I’ll try to force it to bloom again, possibly in the spring just to see what happens.

i listened to advice
I soaked the plant in warm water & pruned the bad leaves and stems away. Then covered it in plastic for a week and now my plant is healthy and starting to bloom again! I am in love with this plant.

How often should I water my Parlor palm in winter?
She is healthy apart from my cat taking a few bites of her. It is winter but it never goes under 20° outside. The information about plants say to reduce watering in winter. I don’t know what I should do because I don’t think she’s dormant. Should I stop misting her every 4 days as well?

This is my 5 year old poinsettia. She is in a north east window. On my enclosed porch. I never move her from this spot. She has had blooms every year. This year I pruned her way back. That is why her blooms are small so far this year.

Got this XXL Alocasia at a bargain!
If anyone has any advice, I do have a few Alocasia’s already though this one has me nervous! Has slight yellowing around the edges of some leaves either through over or under watering.

Shriveled but Hanging On
I got this sprout on Mother’s Day and having been caring for it ever since. Sadly, I was out of town for a while for Thanksgiving and I came home to find him shriveled. That was on Sunday and it is now Wednesday. I’ve watered it every day since I got back. It seems to be trying to hang on-it has perked back up and the new growth at the appears to be in decent shape. Go Basil Go!

Slightly disappointed in the lithop selection they made.. but I love weird looking plants… African milk got me the moment it came out of the box.. the delivery driver dropped him, causing it to milk. Ouch

Just loving this clay pot that was custom made. Very special couple to me that owns a nursery and has really help me with my plants and cacti journey. Starting making clay pots and man o man that are are just stunning. They do sale on PalmStreet app but luckily for me they are just small drive away from my city. After leaving I knew I should have ask if they had another up for sale, because I brought it home with a succulent 🤣

I want a plant with big beautiful leaves, but I have a cat
I can’t have a Monstera, because it says they are toxic to cats. My cat doesn’t usually chew on the leaves, but every once in a while, I see a bite out of one of my plants. Can anyone recommend something with large gorgeous leaves that are pet friendly?

what’s wrong with my zebra plant?
It gets plenty of humidity. There’s a humidifier right next to it. There are no pests on it anywhere. It’s under a grow light. The soil isn’t too moist.

Always love waking up to these blooms. Woke up at 4am to set up the camera and the bloom came in 🤣. Glad I have 5 more buds coming in. I should have left the outside lights off 🤦♂️ idk if that or the cold front that moved in 🤷♂️. It’s finally the lower 50s here. It’s noon now an its already 60°F.

Overwatering at the Store and Ivy Plants Filter Toxins and Molds
I found this little ivy at Lowe’s covered with dead leaves and saturated. I cleaned the dead leaves at the store then decided it was a keeper. So to get the excess water out of the pot, I used paper towels to soak it out of the bottom. I kept exchanging the towels when they became soaked until the towels no longer were absorbing water. Seven days later it’s ready for a drink, has new growth and is cleaning the air.

I got a brand new Blue Spruce!!
I just got this plant today and it is GORGEOUS!!🤩🌲 She even has some small pine cones at the top! I cant wait to see what the pine cones look like..
