Not enough water:
1. Wilted and blighted leaves,
2. Slow growth or its absence,
3. Flowers and buds dropping off,
4. Withered, yellowed lower leaves,
5. Brown leaf tips,
6. Old leaves fall off first.
Too much water:
1. Leaves drooping,
2. Soft areas showing signs of rot,
3. Stunted growth,
4. Brown roots,
5. Brown spots around edges and center of leaves,
6. Young and old leaves fall off at the same time.
